The John Jahr Haus was designed by the German-American practice of Barkow Leibinger. The high quality of their many projects at home and abroad has been recognized in publications and with awards.
Two other notable high-rise buildings in Berlin by the practice are the Total headquarters at the main train station and the Estrel Tower, which is under construction and will be the tallest hotel in Berlin.
